Dan Cavanaugh is a local business man who has always had a passion for history. Dan’s father served in the 3rd Army, 65th Infantry Division in WWII. He started collecting oral histories with his father and found that there was a real connection and a lot of wisdom to be shared from one generation to another.

Jim Hilts is local business man, a veteran of Vietnam and the founder of the Get the Vets to DC bus tours. Jim’s father served in WWII and feels a real connection with fellow veterans.

Mike Munz
Michael Munz, a local businessman, has been steeped in military history his whole life. Mike’s grandfather served the U.S Army in both WWII and the Korean War. And his mother was born and raised in/on Camp Ord, California. All where contributing factors to his interest and passion for history. Through volunteering and research, Mike hopes reconnect those who wrote our history with the monuments and respect that they have been derservingly awarded.

Craig Hodgkins is a Gulf War Combat Veteran that retired from the Marine Corps after 21 Years. His father, Wilson N Hodgkins served in the Quartermaster Corps in WWII. Craig’s daughter Kristi Hodgkins, served in Iraq and Afghanistand while in the Air Force. Craig’s biological father Henry Haase served in WWII and in Korea. He escaped from a POW Camp in Korea.
Craig’s father-in-law (deceased-1974), Reginald C. Waddell, served as a Tuskegee Airman in WWII and his current father-in-law, Louis Dillon served in the Army and did 2 tours in Vietnam.
